As a Multi-Skilled Technician at Auro Café, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and efficiency of our café's equipment and facilities. You will possess a wide range of technical skills, including electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance, to ensure a seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance:
  • Regularly inspect and maintain all café equipment, including coffee machines, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment.
  • Identify and address potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
  • Replace faulty components as needed.
  • Facility Maintenance:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the café's interior and exterior.
  • Perform minor repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and painting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Emergency Response:
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or power outages.
  • Take immediate action to minimize disruption to café operations.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with café staff to address maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with management to report maintenance issues and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Technical vocational course graduate or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a food service environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance principles
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
