JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and directing the maintenance department to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of all plant equipment and facilities. This role is crucial for minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Manager will develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manage maintenance budgets, and lead a team of maintenance supervisor and technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Operations Management:

  1. Oversee daily maintenance activities, including corrective and preventive maintenance.

  2. Schedule and assign work orders to maintenance technicians.

Preventive Maintenance Program:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency.

  2. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks, inspections, calibrations and water quality monitoring.

Corrective Maintenance:

  1. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.

  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

Equipment and Facility Management:

  1. Oversee the maintenance of all production equipment, including processing, packaging, and material handling systems.

  2. Analyze equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership and Management:

  1. Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians.

  2. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and development if needed.

Budget Management:

  1. Prepare and ensure compliance with the maintenance department budget.

  2. Control maintenance costs and optimize resource allocation.

Inventory Management:

  1. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize stockouts.

  2. Establish and implement inventory control procedures to track and manage stock levels.

Safety and Compliance:

  1. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies (LLDA, DENR, BFP, and LGUs).

  2. Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Maintenance:

  1. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of wastewater treatment facilities

  2. Ensure adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements in the operation of wastewater treatment plants.

Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

  2. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
