VICE PRESIDENT – Human Resources
Transformational HR leader driving strategic talent management, cultural excellence, and organizational growth, the Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for leading and overseeing an organization's HR function, developing and implementing strategic HR plans and policies to support the company's mission and strategy.
The Vice President of HR's tasks will also include recruitment, training, and compensation; hire, guide, and evaluate HR executives, ensure compliance with labor laws, and analyze HR operations using metrics and analytics. The VP will also collaborate with the management team, oversee HR operations, guide HR executives, ensure compliance with labor laws, and analyze HR effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Talent Management: Design and implement effective recruitment, retention, and succession planning programs.
Culture and Engagement: Foster an inclusive, diverse, and engaging work environment.
Organizational Development: Drive change management initiatives, process improvements, and organizational design.
Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Leadership Development: Coach and mentor senior leaders, enhancing their leadership capabilities.
Employee Relations: Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Total Rewards: Design and administer competitive compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives, promoting a culture of inclusivity.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage HR budget, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
Analytics and Reporting: Provide insightful HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions.
Policy Development: Create, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/MSHR preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
BPO Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with BPO operations, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with Philippine labor laws and regulations and familiarity with global HR best practices.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office, and Google Suite.
Certifications: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certifications in organizational development, coaching, or change management is preferred.
