KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Payroll Processing

  • Prepare and process payroll for regular, project-based, and separated employees.
  • Encode, validate, and update timesheets, attendance logs, overtime, leaves, adjustments, and allowances.
  • Ensure accuracy of statutory deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, WTax).
  • Compute final pay for resigning/terminated employees, including prorated salaries and benefits.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding employee movements, new hires, and updates.

B. Payroll Administration

  • Maintain payroll records, employee files, and statutory contribution registers.
  • Reconcile payroll registers with general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare payroll summaries and monthly payroll reports.
  • Handle issuance of payslips and respond to employee payroll-related queries.

C. Government Compliance

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual government reports (SSS R3/R5, PhilHealth ER2, Pag-IBIG RF1, BIR 1601C, 2316, etc.).
  • Monitor remittances for statutory contributions and ensure they are paid on time.
  • Assist in year-end tax annualization.

D. Internal Coordination

  • Communicate and coordinate with HR, Admin, and Operations for payroll-related updates.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval for all payroll movements and adjustments.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.

E. Other Accounting Functions

  • Support finance in preparation of journal entries related to payroll.
  • Assist with bank reconciliation related to payroll accounts.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Payroll Supervisor or Accounting Manager.
