Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure our company's full compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations, with a specific focus on Online Payment Systems (OPS). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the OPS industry, including licensing requirements, operational procedures, and risk management within this dynamic sector. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of managing compliance across all aspects of our business, including but not limited to AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure full compliance with all applicable financial laws and regulations, including AML/CFT rules, particularly within the countries/regions where the company operates. This includes a deep understanding of regulations impacting OPS.

· Lead the application and maintenance of necessary financial service licenses for our OPS operations, working closely with regulatory bodies like the BSP in the Philippines.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, preparing for and managing audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.

· Develop, implement, and enforce robust internal compliance policies and procedures for all employees, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements within the OPS context.

· Implement and monitor KYC procedures and AML activities to prevent financial crimes, specifically addressing the unique risks associated with OPS.

· Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks related to cross-border payments, digital currencies, and other OPS-specific challenges.

· Establish systems for monitoring and investigating suspicious transactions, reporting any suspicious activity to relevant authorities promptly.

· Conduct regular training sessions for employees on compliance requirements, focusing on the specific needs and risks of OPS operations.

· Provide ongoing updates to management and staff on changes in laws and regulations impacting the OPS industry.

· Assess contracts and partnerships with third-party providers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, with a specific focus on those related to OPS.

· Address customer complaints related to compliance issues, ensuring transparency and fairness in dispute resolution.

· Conduct regular compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and policies, paying particular attention to the OPS sector.

· Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing solutions.

Requirements and Skills:

· At least three 3 years of proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager, with a significant portion dedicated to the Online Payment Systems industry.

· Demonstrated experience in dealing with government institutions such as the SEC, BIR, LGU, BSP, and other social institutions such as Philhealth, PAGIBIG, and SSS.

· Proven experience in risk management within the OPS sector.

· In-depth knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g., AML/CFT) as they relate to Online Payment Systems.

· Comprehensive familiarity with Online Payment System industry practices, professional standards, and licensing requirements.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· High level of integrity and professional ethics.

· Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance Officer) is a significant advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php70,000.00 per month
