Position: Payroll Assistant (Mandarin Bilingual)

About the Role

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant (Mandarin Bilingual) who will play a key role in supporting our payroll operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

  • Enter new hires, terminations, and employee changes into the payroll system.
  • Process semi-monthly or bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.

Data Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update employee records, including salary, benefits, and tax information.

Record Keeping:

  • Verify time and attendance data and ensure all payroll records are accurate and confidential.

Employee Support:

  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee concerns promptly.

Compliance:

  • Assist with payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle payroll documentation and provide administrative assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and verbal).
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and clerical skills for managing data and files.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in payroll calculations and data entry.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with employees and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using payroll software and computer systems for record-keeping.
