
Technical Support Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ticketing System Management - Familiarity with IT service desk tools used to log, track, and resolve technical support requests. Interns will learn to monitor and manage ticket queues, document steps taken, and escalate when necessary.
- Provides first level hardware / software technical support for local and remote users. This shall includes ticket monitoring and timely resolution of incidents;
- Escalates and endorses complex IT incident tickets and other unresolved technical problems to a higher tier support;
- Serves as a main contact person in Desktop PC support, peripherals installation (printers, scanners, and CCTVs), email and internet configuration, software patching and installation, network activation problem, and facilities maintenance through various modality such as on-site, remote, and phone call, whichever is applicable.
- Provides support in the management and maintenance of IT facilities and equipment. This shall includes coordination with the vendors for preventive maintenance, repair, and installation;
- Provides assistance in preparation and generation of departmental reports pertaining to IT equipment and facility capacity monitoring and maintenance, and the service ticketing;
- Ensures that the implemented IT infrastructure methodologies are aligned in the department's operating procedures, manuals, and other documentation for compliance;
- Engages on activities that will enhance knowledge in the IT infrastructure, discovering trends, and identifying opportunities for system improvement; and
- Performs duties and responsibilities analogous to the foregoing.
Job Specification/Skills Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in ECE, Computer Engineering,
- Computer Science or any IT-related four year course
- Open for Fresh Graduates
- Flexible and can work extended hours
- Can work well minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with and collaborate on desktop and enterprise computing issues, network access issues and security problem resolution with central information technology services
- Highly developed customer service skills
- With a high degree of self motivation, Resourceful and detail-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
