About the role

Equicom Solutions Inc. is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Head to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will be responsible for leading and driving our new business efforts, focusing on identifying and securing strategic partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities to support the continued growth and expansion of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and executing effective strategies to identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including potential clients and partners
  • Negotiating and closing deals to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform business development initiatives
  • Setting and achieving ambitious targets for new business acquisition
  • Providing leadership, mentorship and support to the business development team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in new business development, preferably in the sales and new business development industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand and navigate complex business environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
