About the role
Equicom Solutions Inc. is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Head to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will be responsible for leading and driving our new business efforts, focusing on identifying and securing strategic partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities to support the continued growth and expansion of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing effective strategies to identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including potential clients and partners
- Negotiating and closing deals to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
- Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform business development initiatives
- Setting and achieving ambitious targets for new business acquisition
- Providing leadership, mentorship and support to the business development team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in new business development, preferably in the sales and new business development industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand and navigate complex business environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
