HR Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing, with a strong emphasis on manual payroll computation and the accurate verification of statutory contributions. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and compliant payroll operations while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage manual payroll computations for all employees in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
- Validate timesheets, attendance records, overtime, and leave balances to ensure accurate salary calculations.
- Check and verify statutory contributions such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax deductions, ensuring timely remittance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare payroll reports, payslips, and government declarations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for employee changes, benefits, new hires, and terminations affecting payroll.
- Stay updated with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory changes affecting payroll.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll, with proven experience in manual payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of government-mandated contributions and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems/software.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
