Job Summary:

Responsible for Purchasing direct construction materials, equipment, tools parts and other supplies or services due consideration to quality, quantity, time of delivery and price, overseeing all buyers and clerk activities, ensuring all activities will achieve goals of maintaining effective and competitive construction management that satisfies internal and external customers to achieve BF Corp Mission and Quality Mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and discusses with potential supplier/vendor to obtain information concerning product/ services specification, price, ability to produce the required product/service.
  • Reviews and evaluates bids and proposals submitted by qualified bidders for site construction, and for required tools and equipment to assure reliability and performance of suppliers.
  • Meets and discusses with vendors and negotiates further for a lower price more favorable terms of payments, discounts, shorter delivery period without sacrificing quality.
  • Supervises buyers and clerk activities and appraises their performance.
  • Continuously seeks all means to cost reduced purchases being made.
  • Prepares cost reduction program report.
  • Evaluates cost reduction program report.
  • Evaluates continuously second source suppliers and/or alternate materials for qualification to support growth of the company.
  • Participates in the contract awarding of Purchased Order items.
  • Creates and/or updates purchasing specifications/policy as needed in compliance with ISO requirements.
  • Conducts monthly checks and audits on purchasing policy against the actual day to day activities
  • Assists Purchasing Manager in goal setting for Purchasing
  • Conducts vendor/supplier visits audits as necessary.
  • Promotes good housekeeping and discipline.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Must have at least 5 years related experience in Construction Management.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong network within the construction and real estate sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms.
