Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Associate with a focus on vendor sourcing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, identifying potential vendors, and ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Sourcing:

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors to secure quality products and services.

  • Conduct market research to assess vendor capabilities and pricing models.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to establish favorable terms and conditions.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure compliance with company standards.

Procurement Process Support:

  • Assist in the procurement planning and requisition process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand supply needs and objectives.

Inventory Management:

  • Track inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.

  • Work with the logistics team to forecast demand and manage supply chain flow.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, contracts, and communication.

  • Generate reports on vendor performance, costs, and procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or vendor sourcing.

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
