Project Planning & Execution

Job Title: Project Manager – High-Rise Construction

Department: Operations / Project Management

Reports to: Operations Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience in managing multi-million-dollar high-rise developments, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee site activities to ensure work is performed according to design specifications and safety regulations.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all works comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout all stages of construction.
  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.

Financial Management

  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to avoid overruns.
  • Review and approve progress billings, variation orders, and procurement requests.
  • Prepare and submit regular project status and financial reports.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts promptly to avoid project delays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Valid PRC license (for engineers) or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in high-rise building projects (20+ floors).
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale high-rise projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and MS Office applications.
