Materials Control Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project manager, engineers, and procurement team to create a comprehensive materials procurement plan for MEPFS components.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all MEPFS materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming materials and equipment to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Assist in managing the budget for MEPFS materials and equipment, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of materials, deliveries, inspections, and approvals, keeping documentation organized and easily accessible.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to materials, deliveries, or inventory, and provide proactive solutions to potential challenges.
  • Perform other work-related task that may arise from time to time.

Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer/Electrical Engineer with at least one (1) year of experience as Materials Control Engineer.
- With at least two (2) years' experience in construction industry.
- Strong background and familiarity with construction materials.
- Willing to start immediately.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas Ave. Ext., Brgy. San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal
