About the Role

We are a specialist private clinic providing adult ADHD and Autism assessments. We are preparing for Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) registration and are seeking a clinically qualified professional to lead compliance and oversee clinical operations while also delivering some clinical work within their scope.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Act as the Registered Manager with Healthcare Improvement Scotland
  • Maintain full compliance with HIS standards and inspection requirements
  • Oversee clinical and operational policies (safeguarding, complaints, governance, consent)
  • Manage governance logs (complaints, incidents, safeguarding)

Clinic Management

  • Line manage administrative staff
  • Maintain staff compliance files (registration, insurance, training)
  • Coordinate governance meetings and track actions
  • Handle client complaints and feedback
  • Oversee contracts, renewals, and suppliers
  • Monitor KPIs and support service improvements

Clinical Work

  • Conduct ADHD and/or Autism assessments
  • If a Nurse Prescriber: complete medication initiations and reviews
  • Support diagnostic processes and quality improvement

Requirements

  • Current professional registration (e.g., NMC for Nurse Prescribers)
  • Experience in ADHD/Autism assessment and/or prescribing
  • Leadership or governance experience in healthcare
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (HIS/CQC)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in private/independent healthcare
  • Knowledge of neurodevelopmental and mental health services
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, comfortable working independently
