The Billing and Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's billing operations and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role manages billing staff, implements effective collection strategies, maintains accurate financial records, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The manager also works closely with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues, improve collection efficiency, and support the company's cash flow and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the billing and collection team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collection of payments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor billing and collection policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of all billing transactions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to address billing concerns and disputes promptly.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting and Finance departments to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare regular reports on collection status, outstanding receivables, and collection efficiency for management review.
  • Set performance targets and provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to billing and collection staff.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
