Green Bar is looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and grow our events program. This role requires both strong operational management skills and creativity in planning and executing events that bring our community together.

Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations (FOH + BOH) with focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure financial discipline by monitoring sales, COGS, labor, and expenses
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff for a positive and professional workplace culture

Reporting & Strategic Oversight

  • Prepare and submit weekly reports on sales, inventory, waste, COGS, and key issues
  • Analyze trends to recommend strategies for improving cost control and profitability
  • Maintain awareness of payroll and overhead

Events Management

  • Lead planning and execution of in-house and offsite events (corporate functions, private parties, Green Bar community events)
  • Develop event proposals, quotations, and costing models
  • Coordinate logistics: menu planning, staffing, setup, equipment, and supplier needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, vendors, and community partners
  • Ensure all events are profitable, well-executed, and aligned with Green Bar's brand

Qualifications

  • At least 3–5 years of management experience in hospitality, F&B, or events
  • Strong financial and operational acumen (P&L oversight, cost control, reporting)
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Passionate about plant-based food and community-driven events (a plus)
