o To provide high quality professional training courses and materials.
o To provide advice, assistance and information to the management and other departments within the organization, where and when necessary in identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with line managers and HR.
o To ensure that all members of staff, new and existing, within the company are trained on the applications/systems, culture and processes to an appropriate level.
o To develop modules for training needs and ensure that activities are in line with divisional and corporate objectives. Produce training materials for in-house courses
o Plan and consider the costs of planned programs and keep within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programs is becoming increasingly important
o Ensure that statutory training requirements are met and identify personal development requirements in order to maintain application knowledge.
o Manage the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devise a training strategy for the organization

o Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
o Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
o Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
o Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
o Other necessary duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management.
