The TTJ Advisory is an Australian specialised accounting and business advisory firm that has been working in the areas of business consulting, forensic accounting and corporate and personal insolvency. TTJ Advisory has a great reputation in the industry for its professional and hands-on approach.

An opportunity has arisen for an accountant at an intermediate level to join the team to work on corporate forensic and consulting matters. This Intermediate Accountant role provides professional and career development opportunities for the right candidate.

As part of this modern and dynamic team, you will be given an opportunity to work on all aspects of the assignments including drafting reports to clients, financiers and other stakeholders, conducting investigations, financial analysis, business valuations, expert reports and maintaining the administration files.

About the Role:

  • Involves working in all aspects of forensic, valuation and advisory matters;
  • Working with dynamic and friendly teams located in Australia, reporting to an Australian manager;
  • Professional and courteous interaction with clients and colleagues;
  • Commitment to continuous learning to support a full understanding of the firm's work;
  • Effective time management and meeting of set deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

· Fluent in spoken and written English, and confident to use it for work;

· Bachelor of Science of Accountancy;

· Competent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook);

· Previous 1-2 years' work experience in the accounting/ finance field is desired – audit experience may be helpful;

· Previous 1-2 years' work experience using English is desired;

· A passion for developing relationships and working with others;

· Willingness to learn and develop new skills;

· Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;

· Strong levels of initiative and ownership to deliver exceptional outcomes;

· A proactive attitude and drive to succeed;

· Friendly and respectful;

· Able to work amicably and productively within a team;

· Comfortable with investigating matters and providing a technical view for discussion;

· Ability prepare papers and analysis which is technically correct.
