About the role

As a Technical Superintendent at power corporation Philippines', you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of our power generation facilities in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our critical energy infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the technical teams responsible for the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment and systems
  2. Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies to maximise equipment reliability and performance
  3. Monitor and analyse technical data to identify and address potential issues proactively
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operational efficiency and productivity
  6. Provide technical guidance and training to the operations and maintenance teams
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Power Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical superintendent or senior operations/maintenance role in the power generation industry
  3. Proven track record of leading and motivating technical teams to achieve operational excellence
  4. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  5. Strong understanding of power generation equipment, systems and maintenance best practices
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  7. Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations
