QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a licensed Architect
  • With at least 3 years work experience as Architect/Licensed

JOB DESCRIPTION

In charge of analyzing and inspecting data in relation to accomplishing architectural designs. Coordinates with key personnel to ensure design specification compliance

1) Prepare and produce drawings, models, images and other documents relating to design;

2) Prepare designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopment that are functional, safe and sustainable;

3) Execute / Perform design and implementation of architectural models;

4) Prepare and produce project plans/layout and engineering elements;

5) Prepare graphical documents that may be requested by the head Office Engineers, Project Superintendent or Project In Charge;

6) Research Building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs;

7) Gather data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites as necessary;

8) Prepare and produce plans (Architectural);

9) Prepare and produce construction documents to gain an overall picture of DMCI's design scope of work;

10) Execute/Perform computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records;

11) Execute/Perform and produce plans, specifications for purpose of shop drawing and detailing;

12) Execute/Perform shop drawings that may be required as attachment to letters, presentations, reports, work methodologies and submittals(RFI/CVI/SI);

13) Execute/Perform updated plans and details. Input of revised plans to electronic copy;

14) Execute/Perform Updated plans and drawings as part of the 'As Built" Drawings based on actual site conditions

15) Inspect Work load and work schedule of all Arch Staff & CADD Operators.

16) Coordinate/ Communicate with structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans;

17) Coordinate/ Communicate with designers, sub-contractors/material suppliers in relation to project accomplishment (RFI's and other pertinent information);

18) Coordinate / communicate the work of draftsman and cadd operator on construction projects;

19) Coordinate/ Communicate architectural drawings to determine conflicts and clashes with that of other disciplines

20) Gather Data regarding alternative architectural design schemes and floor layouts of portion as required by projects (for RFI cases; for Designer's approval);

21) Proper Usage of the knowledge of the scope or work of each and every design professional and sub-contractors;

22) Research builders compliance with the design specifications and advising on designs correction, under Designer/Project in Charge supervision;

23) Attend/Participate the coordination meetings with various design professionals to ensure accuracy of drawings of the various trades;

24) Inspect on site visits to check on development of design;

25) Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
