JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years as Second or Third Engineer on seagoing vessels, preferably bulk carriers.
  • Must have sailed on an electronic type of main engine for at least one contract.
  • Experience with vessel dry-docking, repair planning, PMS (Planned Maintenance System), and class/statutory surveys is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, MLC, BWMS etc.) and classification society requirements.
  • Must be willing and able to travel, both locally and internationally, to attend vessels, oversee dry dockings, and perform inspections as required.
  • Must be capable of working beyond regular office hours when operational needs arise.
  • Strong English communication and technical report writing skills are essential.
  • Candidates must include two/three professional references as part of their application
  • Candidates must be available for immediate employment or have a notice period of no more than 30 days.
