Acts as the support system of the Operations Manager in ensuring all activities are aligned with the approved plans including but not limited to forecasting, planning and scheduling manpower activities, monitoring project projection, budgeting and determining cost involved in undertaking project before up to implementation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares detailed cost estimates and budgets for fabrication/construction projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.

  2. Oversees all contract management activities, including the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.

  3. Monitors project expenditures against allocated budget during project execution.

  4. Evaluates project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and competitive costing.

  5. Conducts regular site visits/fabrication quality checks to assess progress and to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.

  6. Regularly updates the Operation Manager, Project Supervisors, Project Coordinators, Engineers and Architects to align on project budget and scope.

  7. Negotiates contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

  8. Monitors and reports on project expenses and prepares financial reports for management.

  9. Manages risks and performs cost control measures to prevent defects.

  10. Resolves any contract disputes and handles claims related to project costs.

  11. Ensures compliance with legal standards and company policies in all project dealings.

  12. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Operations Manager relative to the role assignment.
