We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in UK-based construction projects and a strong command of SMM7 and NRM2 standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost planning, estimating, and project management support for our UK clients, ensuring all financial and contractual aspects are managed with accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation in accordance with SMM7 and NRM2 standards.
  • Conduct cost planning, budget management, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
  • Manage post-contract administration, including progress valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Liaise closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and project delivery.
  • Assist in risk analysis, feasibility studies, and project cost forecasts.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, contractual terms, and cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum (3) years of relevant experience, with a focus on UK construction projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of SMM7 and NRM2 measurement standards (required).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CostX, or similar estimating software.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, report writing, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in a remote setup supporting UK-based clients.
