Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechanical)
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Less than 1 year experience specialized in Engineering - Mechanical.
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial management and QS role with in construction
  • Site experience essential
  • Acceptance of responsibility and accountability

Responsibilities:

  • Skilled and budgeting, reporting developing BOQ's profit plans
  • Good communication skills. Manage subcontractor accounts. Retentions apply as per agreements.
  • Ability to administer the contract obligations and meet additional client requirements. Issue interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements.
  • Monthly applications to be all inclusive of accurate remeasure, site changes and any applicable contract claims.
  • Identify escalations, material or labor as appropriate
  • Have a practical understanding of scheduling and the associated commercial implications.
  • Assist the QS Supervisor in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project
  • Participate, record and assist in the preparation of the progress meetings.
  • Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project.
  • Assist the QS Supervisor in the preparation of variation orders.
