Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor (MEPFS) with strong tendering experience to support pre-contract and estimating activities. The role involves detailed cost estimation, bid preparation, and evaluation of MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary) works for large-scale construction projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS works during tender stage.
  • Review drawings and specs to develop accurate BOQs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical input.
  • Analyze bids, conduct cost comparisons, and support value engineering.
  • Assist in tender strategy, proposal preparation, and bid submissions.
  • Maintain MEPFS cost database and update unit rates.
  • Support handover to project team after award.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of MEPFS systems and construction methodologies.
  • Proficient in cost estimating, tendering procedures, and commercial evaluation.
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of estimating software is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of local codes, pricing trends, and supplier markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 5 years of QS experience in MEPFS, with at least 3 years in tendering or pre-contract roles.
  • Experience in large-scale building projects such as commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, or industrial facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php65, Php70,000.00 per month
