About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage IT projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timeline. The role includes monitoring progress, managing risks, and overseeing vendor and procurement processes. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Program Manager (PgM) or Product Manager (PdM), who holds primary accountability for stakeholder relationships and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project delivery, ensuring balance across scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Track project milestones, report progress, and escalate risks/issues proactively.
  • Partner with PgM or PdM to ensure on-track delivery through schedule/budget review, RAID management, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal project management frameworks, financial controls, and procurement policies.
  • Draft and manage Business Cases, procurement documents (SoW, RP, RFPs, etc.), and vendor contracts.
  • Oversee financials (disbursement schedules, milestone payments, invoice processing).
  • Supervise project documentation: PSR, BPR, RAID logs, budget updates, health checks, and steering committee packs.
  • Facilitate adoption, change management, and knowledge transfer across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least
    8+ years of IT Project Management
    experience delivering software or infrastructure/network solutions (with Agile exposure).
  • Strong knowledge in program/project management principles, risk/vendor/budget management, adoption/change management, and benefit tracking.
  • Technical familiarity with programming, database/system design, and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural, diverse environments.
  • Not a job hopper (minimum 1 year tenure per company).
  • Must not be a current or former employee of the end-client.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Required/Preferred:
    MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or CITPM.
  • Good to have:
    PMI-ACP, PSM/CSM, DA, SaFE, ITIL.
