Job Description:

The General Accountant Specialist is responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Conduct audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.

  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient financial operations.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Provide support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, typically 2-4 years.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS).

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required.

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
