The Controls & Analysis Officer assists the Controls & Analysis Manager in implementing policies, procedures and processes related to Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reports.

Costing and Pricing

  • Prepare and complete complex costing and pricing requirement from departments.
  • Make estimates of new and proposed procedure and packages rates. Verify costs with benchmarking from competitors.
  • Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost tru Costing Summary.
  • Review and analyze department's costing request monitoring.

Financial Planning/Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Supports the identification of per Profit Center/COE targets through analysis of current and prior year performance.
  • Consolidates and analyzes company's budget submissions.
  • Supports regular forecasting and budgeting routine.
  • Partnering for business case analysis and decision support.

Financial Management and Reporting

  • Prepares monthly costing and pricing reports, information packages, and monitoring.
  • Creation of monthly per Profit Center/COE reports with comparison of current and prior year performance and target with Run Rate analysis.
  • Creates per Profit Center / Center of Excellence financial performance monitoring report.

Other responsibilities

  • Act as a support to various departments in operations that provides costing and pricing.
  • Support all tasks and relationships with Stakeholders which involves activities like Budget template orientation, Budget process and guidelines.
  • Any work-related activities that may be advised by the C&A Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (essential)
  • With at least 2 years' work experience in Cost Accounting, Financial planning and reporting, Business performance analysis, Management presentations and dashboards.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Solid cost systems background or any accounting software
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and excel skills.
  • Background in SAP and other ERP systems is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php38, Php40,000.00 per month
