We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team and help drive our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document eligibility, benefit and authorization information in accordance with established guidelines
- Verify prior authorizations and/or pre-service requirements are met
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and other external customers
- Identify and report trends and prior authorization issues relating to billing and reimbursement
- Document all account activity and correspond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Review accounts on a daily basis while meeting or exceeding all daily, weekly and monthly production goals
- Communicate and work effectively with colleagues from other departments
- Fax off authorization request, update spreadsheets and call insurance companies
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in insurance authorization
- Strong writing skills in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, clients, auditors and internal customers
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php224.00 per hour
