About the Role

We are hiring a Loans Processor to support the pre-credit & credit stage of our mortgage process. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist brokers by preparing key documents and data before applications are submitted for credit assessment. You'll also liaise with lenders, order property valuations, and manage document workflows.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to grow in the mortgage industry—with potential future exposure to the full loan lifecycle from application to settlement.

Responsibilities

  • Send welcome emails and initial data requests to new clients
  • Enter data for new clients and update existing client records
  • Request, index and organise supporting documents, identifying any missing items
  • Request pricing discounts from lenders and order valuations
  • Organise property reports and prepare initial broker tools (e.g., Quickli, strategy sheet, prepare client loan options mud map)
  • Draft lender application notes and support brokers with lender option prep
  • Call lenders for updates and assist with post settlement loan account summaries
  • Prepare detailed post-settlement breakdowns for clients
  • Assist in preparing and managing discharge forms for settlements
  • Prepare servicing calculators for brokers rrview
  • Assist with retention pricing of existing client book

What We're Looking For

You're a team player who learns quickly, follows through reliably, and uses sound judgment when making decisions. You take ownership of your tasks and communicate clearly with the team.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Australian mortgage loan processing (pre- or post-settlement)
  • Familiarity with pricing and valuation processes
  • Exposure to CRM platforms such as Mercury, FLEX, SalesTrekker, or Symmetry
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful, commercially minded, and eager to learn
  • Bachelor's or College Degree (any field)
