We are looking for Junior to Senior Level Broker Supports, Loan Processors, or Financial Services Professionals who will assist our Australian clients in efficiently processing mortgage loan applications. As a Broker Support you will be in charge of making sure of the timely and accurate processing of loan applications with high levels of client satisfaction within defined service levels and process steps.
Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the core business activities
- Understand different types of loans
- Understand the loan broking process
- Understand requirements of lenders & their checklists
- Understand property valuations
Business processes pertaining to Loan Lodgement
- Understand structure of a loan application
- Conduct serviceability/affordability calculation for various lenders
- Complete and lodged new customer application to lender for residential loans
- Use efficiently all systems used to process loans and manage customers
Business processes from Unconditional Approval – Settlement
- Follow up with lenders at each stage to ensure the loan is moving smoothly
- Follow up with property valuers to ensure the loan is moving smoothly
- Liaison with external stakeholders - banks, solicitors, & real estate agents, to ensure smooth settlement
Processes/Duties:
Lodgment, prepare files, and follow up on missing information
- Preparing customer packs for meetings & sending welcome packs
- Creating new customer/loan records via CRM
- Ensuring fact find, supporting docs, authorities and risk profile are completed properly and signed
- Manage physical supporting documents & collate missing information
- Data enter application data in CRM & ApplyOnline
- Preparation of various documents such SOA, PCAR, Credit Proposal and Forms in compliance with Lender's regulation
- Ordering of upfront valuation and property reports
- Ensure notes are made in CRM
- Following up on all aspects of the process ensuring smooth closings. This includes working on checklists, and all remaining CRM Queue items tasks which includes phone calls to banks, solicitors etc.
Unconditional Approval – Settlement process
- Complete entire process from Unconditional Approval to Settlement
- Liaison with external stakeholders; banks, solicitors, real estate agent to ensure smooth settlement
- Organizing required documentation from various parties to ensure settlement
- Organizing appropriate offset accounts with the various branches/personal bankers
- Providing correct account access to customers
- Organizing conference calls/phone meetings to handover customer queries to the appropriate area/post settlement
- Notifying customers of the settlement confirmation
Customer & Lender communication
- Follow up with the customer for all necessary documentation
- Send loan pack by email to lender after lodgment
- Follow up with lenders to ensure all loan pack info is received by the lender
- Follow up with lenders at each stage to ensure the loan is moving smoothly
- Liaison with loan writer to ensure the loan progresses as the original submission
Post-settlement customer service
- Top up loans/variations/increases
- Loan switch process/changing loan types, etc.
- Resolving banking issues by liaising between the bank & customer
- Assist with various services the business may offer to a customer during the variation processes
General administration
- Maintain various network folders
- Create Word, Excel docs as required
Qualifications
- Finance industry experience or specialization in US/UK/AU mortgage industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. High school or vocational qualifications may also be considered based on relevant work experiences.
- Strong English communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension, with an emphasis on effective telephone and email communication
