The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, services, and contracts in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role ensures that the organization receives high-quality supplies at competitive prices while complying with company policies and procurement regulations.

1. PROCUREMENT AND ORDER MANAGEMENT:

  • Receive and validate Purchase Requests (PRs) from all Departments and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct proper canvassing of office supplies and materials for Head Office, Plant and Warehouse.
  • Conduct price negotiations with suppliers and prepare a comparative report of quotations.
  • Ensure timely creation of Purchase Order (PO) based on the approved requests from various departments
  • Monitoring the status of purchased orders and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of items.
  • Reconcile supplier billing and coordinate with Accounting (Payables) to process payments accurately and on time.
  • Address discrepancies in quantity, quality or delivery time1.8 Coordinate to Supplier to resolve all encountered order issues and delays.

2. SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address non-compliance or service issues.
  • Maintain and update an approved supplier list.

3. INVENTORY MANGAEMENT:

  • Regularly check and record inventory to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Identify when and how much to reorder based on usage trends and safety stock levels.
  • Generate regular reports on stock status (Slow-Moving, Non-Moving, and Fast-Moving Items)

4. COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper delivery and storage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
