Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Los Angeles, CA – PST)
Total Weekly Hours: 20 Hours

Join a growing entrepreneurial venture supporting a business owner in the food & beverage and beauty industries. The company is launching a new beauty brand, bringing premium products from Thailand to California, with a major pop-up event planned in Santa Monica this September.

As the Operations & E-Commerce Assistant, you'll be the backbone of daily operations for both the restaurant business and the new beauty brand. You'll manage e-commerce tasks, coordinate with international partners, and support key projects that directly impact business growth.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking on diverse responsibilities, and wants hands-on experience in startup operations, product launches, and international business coordination.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage Facebook and Instagram accounts for two restaurants.

  • Create engaging content aligned with brand identity and promotional campaigns.

  • Foster community engagement by responding promptly to comments and messages.

  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers.

Administrative Support

  • Monitor and manage personal and business email accounts.

  • Follow up on pending communications and coordinate with vendors.

  • Schedule and organize appointments, meetings, and other business activities.

E-Commerce Support

  • Manage and update product listings on Shopify and Amazon.

  • Ensure product information, images, and pricing are accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Canva).

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred; Amazon experience a plus).

  • Familiarity with the restaurant or food industry is highly advantageous.

  • Strong background in administrative support and customer service.

  • Ability to multitask effectively across various business projects and priorities.
