Job Specifications

A well-established homeware and textiles company with a national presence is seeking an E-commerce Specialist to drive its digital performance across both B2C and B2B channels. The role will collaborate closely with creative and operational teams to enhance the company's online presence and support its continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an E-commerce strategy that drives sales and enhances customer engagement.
  • Optimise the E-commerce platforms to improve conversion rates, and ensure the website has seamless functionality, user-friendly navigation, and compelling content.
  • Utilise tools like A/B testing, user experience analysis, and customer journey mapping to enhance website performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on E-commerce performance, identifying trends and areas for growth.
  • Drive website traffic through effective SEO, SEM/PPC and social media campaigns, and monitor ROAS on all paid advertising campaigns.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platforms, including launching sales and promotions.
  • Create and manage marketing flows in Klaviyo, including A/B testing and segmentation for B2C and B2B databases.
  • Implement and manage review systems for customers and products (e.g., publishing, replying).
  • Upload seasonal launches (e.g., summer/winter collections) and manage general website updates.
  • Set up and manage promotional collections in Shopify, including banners and pop-ups.
  • Create and update competition landing pages and coordinate winner selection.
  • Supply assets for Google, Meta, and other advertising platforms, and liaise with third parties regarding ad duration, budget, placement, rotation, A/B testing, and copy.
  • Run targeted Facebook ads for promotions.
  • Support and communicate with loyalty program apps and partners.
  • Liaise with third-party contacts for apps, bugs, and tech support (e.g., Klaviyo, Okendo).
  • Work with external marketing teams and collaborators, including offshore specialists.
  • Maintain awareness of back-end systems and integrations (e.g., PIM, ERP, WMS).
  • Ensure data integrity and support best practice utilisation across platforms.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A formal qualification in E-commerce, marketing or business is preferred but not essential.
  • 3+ years' experience in E-commerce management, ideally in both B2C and B2B.
  • Required hands-on experience managing and optimising stores on Shopify's E-commerce platform.
  • Preferred experience using Klaviyo for email marketing and automation.
  • A passion for data and analytics is vital to the role.
  • Strong drive to meet and surpass KPI's.
  • Experience in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, META, AdRoll, Google PMax and/or similar).
