Quantity Surveyor Contract Admin

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator to join our collaborative team. This is a unique hybrid role that bridges the gap between traditional quantity surveying and hands-on project management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing financial and contractual control throughout the project lifecycle, from initial conception to final completion.

- Dayshift (Australian working hours)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cost Planning & Estimating: Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and feasibility studies for various construction projects.
- Take-Offs & Measurement: Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings using software such as Cubit Cost X or similar.
- Tender Management: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Assist with the tender process, analysis, and reporting.
- Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, including variations, progress claims, assessment, and certification of payments.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor project costs against budget, prepare cost reports, and forecast final accounts.
- Project Support: Provide assistant project management support, including attending online meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking project progress.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a similar role (Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, or Assistant Project Management) within the construction industry. (1-3yrs)
- A proactive professional with a strong numerical background and excellent communication skills.
- Strong technical proficiency in Cubit (or similar take-off software such as CostX, Bluebeam) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated experience in construction estimating, cost planning, and quantity take-offs.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear and professional reports and correspondence.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- AU experience /exposure in building industry preferred but not essential – someone with the right attitude, the right qualifications and a desire to learn and grow will succeed in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
