The opportunity

Ascendion, a leading Information & Communication Technology company, is seeking an Automation Tester to join their team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's cutting-edge software solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using TOSCA and Selenium frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address testing requirements
  • Continuously improve and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Tester, preferably with TOSCA and Selenium
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Proficient in writing effective test scripts and implementing test automation frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends
