Work Set Up: Full-Time Independent Contractor

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Tester to join our growing product and engineering team. This

person will ensure the reliability, performance, and high quality of our telehealth, e-prescription, and pharmacy marketplace products.

The QA Tester will play a key role in validating features end-to-end across web

applications, backend services, and APIs. While the role is primarily manual testing, we are

looking for someone with automation experience who can help us build or improve automated

regression and smoke test suites over time.

You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager, engineers, and designers to make sure

releases meet quality standards and deliver seamless experiences for clinicians, pharmacies,

and patients.

Key Responsibilities 

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features across telehealth and pharmacy marketplace platforms.Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Test web-based front-end applications, backend services, and databases.Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.Identify, document, and track defects using our issue tracking system.Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure product requirements are thoroughly understood and validated.Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.Lead in the development and maintenance of automation scripts (Selenium, etc.).Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives as part of the Agile process.Help improve QA processes, standards, and best practices within the organization.



Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on QA testing experience.Strong experience in manual testing across front-end and back-end environments.Automation experience using Selenium or equivalent frameworks (even partial experience is a plus).Solid experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or REST-assured.Familiarity with testing backend systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and microservices.Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially when working with product and engineering teams.Experience testing healthcare, telehealth, or pharmacy platforms is a strong plus, but not required.
