Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines The Manila Hotel Full time ₱250,000 - ₱500,000 per year

1.0 DUTIES:

1.1. Regular Duties

1.1.1. Responsible for giving out accurate information and assistance concerning Hotel facilities, functions, transportation and tours.

1.1.2. Responsible in making airline ticket reservation, reconfirmation, re-routing and revalidation.

1.1.3. Makes hotel reservations local and international.

1.1.4. Handles restaurant reservations, inside and outside of the Hotel.

1.1.5. Obtains and maintains an inventory of brochures and other materials needed by guests.

1.1.6. Gathers and updates information needed by the guest and attends to guest inquiries and requests.

1.1.7. Responsible for visiting and recommending places of interests and entertainment for guests.

1.1.8. Handles requests for Bell Service/ Telephone Operator assistance.

1.1.9. Handles messengerial services e.g purchase of tickets, medicine, bags/ shoe repairs, etc.

Assists guests and non-hotel guests in their long distance/ overseas telephone calls.

Handles tour and transportation arrangements

1.2. Occasional Duties

1.2.1. Maintains and controls the concierge funds

1.2.2. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

6.0 QUALIFICATIONS:

6.1 Education

6.1.1 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's /College Degree in Hospitality/ Tourism/ Hotel management or equivalent

6.2 Work Experience/s:

6.1.2 At least one (1) year of working experience in the Front Office Operation.

6.3 Special Qualities/ Skills Required:

6.3.1 Height must be at least 5'4" for female and 5'&' for male.

6.3.2 Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

6.3.3 Ability to speak one or more foreign language (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French, Italian, German, Nihonggo, Chinese and Korean) is an advantage.

6.3.4 Must possess superior public relations abilities.

6.3.5 Must possess excellent leadership qualities.

6.3.6 Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
