Be part of our client's team as an AU Bookkeeper, managing end-to-end bookkeeping, creditor payments, payroll, and financial reporting with precision. Ensure ATO compliance, maintain accurate records, and produce client-ready reports using cloud platforms like MYOB or Xero-supporting smooth daily operations and empowering Australian businesses with reliable financial insights.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum of 3 years' experience handling Australian bookkeeping
• Cert IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) or equivalent qualification
• Strong understanding of ATO compliance, BAS, STP, and payroll processes
• Proficiency in MYOB-AR, MYOB-AE, or Xero including data entry and reporting
• Experience with third-party integrations in cloud accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple Australian client accounts independently
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

Your Daily Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Compliance

• Record income, expenses, and post journal entries accurately
• Maintain ledgers and reconcile bank accounts daily
• Prepare BAS and payroll tax reports for ATO submission

Accounts & Payroll

• Process creditor invoices and payments
• Handle end-to-end payroll including superannuation and STP lodgments

Reporting & Support

• Generate management and compliance reports
• Assist onshore accountants with report preparation and data accuracy

Collaboration

• Uphold company values through teamwork and proactive communication
• Identify process improvements and maintain data integrity across clients
