Job Description

As an AU Bookkeeper, you will handle end-to-end bookkeeping functions, manage creditor payments, oversee payroll processes, and prepare financial reports with accuracy. You'll ensure compliance, deliver client-ready reports, and support day-to-day operations that keep businesses running smoothly.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Cert IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) or equivalent
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in an Australian environment
• Strong knowledge of MYOB-AR, MYOB-AE, and/or Xero, including payroll, reconciliations, and data entry
• Experience with BAS, superannuation, and Australian payroll legislation
• Familiarity with third-party apps integrated with cloud accounting systems
• Skilled in preparing timesheets for client billing
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Able to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines
• Proactive, professional, and confident in communicating with clients and team members

Your Daily Tasks

• Handle end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients, including income, expenses, and reconciliations.
• Manage creditor invoices, payments, and daily banking transactions with accuracy.
• Process payroll, superannuation, and STP in compliance with ATO requirements.
• Prepare BAS, payroll tax, and management reports for review and lodgment.
• Support ad hoc accounting tasks and process improvements as required.
• Uphold company values, collaborate effectively, and maintain compliance with internal policies.
