Job Summary

The Inventory & Purchasing Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control and timely procurement of food, beverages, and operating supplies. This role plays a key part in cost control, stock availability, and operational efficiency by monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, receiving deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Monitor daily and weekly inventory levels for food, beverages, packaging, and operating supplies
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory tracking systems or spreadsheets
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, FIFO compliance, and cleanliness of storerooms
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams on stock usage and requirements

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved PAR levels
  • Coordinate with approved suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of goods
  • Check deliveries for quantity, quality, pricing, and condition upon receipt
  • Report and resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues
  • Monitor price changes and inform management of significant cost differences

Cost Control & Reporting

  • Track usage, wastage, and variances and submit regular inventory reports
  • Support management in identifying overstocking, understocking, and slow-moving items
  • Assist in maintaining food cost and inventory cost targets

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure inventory and purchasing practices comply with company policies and food safety standards
  • Safeguard inventory items to minimize loss, theft, or spoilage

Job Qualifications

  • With experience in inventory, purchasing, or stock control in F&B (preferred but not required)
  • Basic knowledge of food & beverage inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel or Google Sheets)
  • Familiarity with FIFO, PAR levels, and food safety standards
  • Experience dealing with multiple suppliers and delivery schedules
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
