Key Responsibilities

Act as Point of Contact (POC) and Accommodate Customers

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers conducting remittance, bill payment, and cash-in/out transactions.
  • Provide accurate information about available services, exchange rates, and transaction limits.
  • Ensure a smooth customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Submit an End-of-Day (EOD) report to the Supervisor for approval, ensuring that all transactions are balanced and properly accounted for.
  • Perform cash reconciliation and turnover all cash collections to the Treasury Department at the end of each shift.
  • Process both local and international remittance transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify customer identity and transaction details in compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
  • Monitor and manage cash levels for remittance and foreign exchange transactions to avoid discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all foreign exchange transactions comply with regulatory standards and internal controls.
  • Resolve transaction discrepancies or escalate issues to the Supervisor as needed.
  • Compile and validate all necessary data for quarterly reports related to remittance, foreign exchange, and payment processing.
  • Ensure that reports are accurate, complete, and submitted within the required deadlines.
  • Gather necessary data and documentation to support the preparation of tax declarations.
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting of taxable income and expenses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer transactions, including remittance, foreign exchange, and bill payments.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any related field preferred.

Experience:

At least 1-2 years of experience in financial services, remittance, foreign exchange, or banking industry.

Experience handling customer transactions and cash balancing preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve customer issues professionally.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to remittance, foreign exchange, and AML/KYC guidelines.
