The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. This role ensures compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency in all payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Supervise the payroll team and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, benefits, taxes, and leave balances.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate employee data, benefits enrollment, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations on taxes, benefits, and reporting requirements (e.g., BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG in the Philippines).
  • Prepare and review payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliations for management and audit purposes.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement payroll process improvements and system upgrades for efficiency.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax codes, and payroll best practices.
  • Manage payroll budgets and forecasting in collaboration with the Finance department.
