·       PAYROLL PROCESSING

o   Process multiple payrolls accurately, including but not limited to semi-monthly pay, monthly pay, special processing, final pay, retirement pay, and maternity pay.

o   Ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices.

o   Calculate employee salary, benefits, and deductions.

o   Prepare computation for SSS maternity and sickness benefit.

o   Make salary adjustment calculations/report as necessary, submit to payroll manager for verification and checking.

o   Properly manage the deductions and loans of employees in payroll system.

o   Create a monthly summary report for all deductions and remittances.

o   Keep orderly filing of payroll registers, timesheet, bank advise, vouchers, and payroll related files.

o   Support payroll manager for matters related to payroll, as needed.

o   Address and resolve payroll concerns and discrepancies.

o   Timekeeping reports checking.

o   Work with IT Team to address any technical issues related to payroll software.

·       DEDUCTIONS

Statutory Remittances

o   Create monthly schedules and update electronic report for payment of Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth Insurance Corporation (PHIC), Home Development Multi-Purpose Fund (HDMF) remittances and loans.

o   Assist payroll manger with monthly withholding tax summary preparation.

Loans

o   Properly record employees company loan, external bank loan, SSS salary loan/, SSS calamity loan, HDMF multi-purpose loan, HDMF calamity loan amortization and post payments timely and accurately.

·       REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS

o   Assist payroll manager with preparation and finalization of Annual Reports. Including Annualization and Alphalist, BIR 2316, BIR 1604C, Annex B, Annex C, Annex F

o   Payroll Detailed and Summary Reports for management review as necessary.

o   Prepare PhilHealth ER2 and obtain new employee's MDR.

o   Update SSS R1 A for newly hired employees.

·       COMPLIANCE AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

o   Stay updated with relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with payroll procedures and systems.
