Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy EVV Compliance Specialist / Home Care Virtual Assistant to support operations across all three divisions. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements, performing quality checks within Alora, and assisting with administrative tasks that reduce the workload on our local teams.
This individual will learn in-house systems and processes and act as a cross-functional support resource, contributing to efficiency, compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
EVV Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Monitor, review, and audit visit data in Alora to ensure accuracy and EVV compliance.
- Verify visits are exporting correctly to Sandata and resolve exceptions or discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure all EVV rules and state requirements are being met across the three divisions.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support daily operations across Home Care, Private Duty, and Home Health.
- Support HR-related tasks as needed (e.g., tracking required documentation, compliance training reminders, file upkeep).
- Assist with scheduling-related updates, staff follow-ups, and other tasks that help alleviate the workload of on-site staff.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare compliance reports, EVV status summaries, and exception trend insights for management.
- Support communication between teams to ensure timely resolution of issues impacting billing, EVV compliance, or operations.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, escalations, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn software quickly; experience with Alora or Sandata is an asset but not required.
- Prior experience in home care, home health, healthcare administration, or EVV compliance is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask across multiple divisions and prioritize efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Experience with EMR/EVV platforms or healthcare billing processes is an advantage.
