Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance activities to ensure that all building facilities, equipment, and systems for our sister company (Paramount Hotels and Facilities Management Co. Inc.) operate efficiently and safely. The role requires technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and other facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of facility equipment, utilities, and building systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and provide timely repairs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to carry out maintenance procedures effectively.
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
  • Operate precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices to assess equipment condition.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Record maintenance activities, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and manage tools and equipment responsibly.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, and other team members on repair or maintenance needs.

Qualifications

  • Related degree from a technical institution.
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
  • Experience performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
