About the role

Excello Restaurant Management Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Personnel to join our team in Metro Manila. As a Maintenance Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our restaurant facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This is a key role that plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Candidates must be available to work standard business hours, evenings/weekends, and provide on-call availability as required.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform regular preventative maintenance and repairs on restaurant equipment, facilities, and infrastructure
  2. Identify and address any issues or problems in a timely manner to minimise disruptions
  3. Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules and activities
  4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance tasks and repairs
  5. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Assist with special projects and other duties as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or handyperson role, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
  2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of various building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures
  3. Candidates must have specific maintenance experience with kitchen equipment, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  4. Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot issues, and make quick decisions
  5. Good problem-solving and time management skills
  6. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  8. Sponsorship is available for candidates who do not have Australian work rights
  9. Candidates must hold a trade certificate, electrical licence, and plumbing licence
