SUMMARY:
The Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Front Office/Guest Services Team of The Mansion Boutique Hotel. This role will be supporting Management in the day-to-day operations of The Mansion – a family-friendly boutique hotel.
The Front Office Supervisor is an integral part of the GCAC team. The ideal candidate will possess good management and organization skills and be flexible, trustworthy and a multi-tasker. She/he will be able to handle any guest concerns and requests including and will also be able to step in at the front desk and during events. The ideal candidate(s) should also be a self-starter and be motivated, able to help his/her colleagues when needed and keep busy when the hotel is not booked.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Supervises Guest Services Team of The Mansion
- Help oversee day-to-day operations of The Mansion and be responsible for scheduling of the Guest Services Personnel
- Responsible for enforcing the Standard Operating Procedures for the Guest Services Team
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing Team for promoting The Mansion
- Overseeing Front Office Agents and Sales and Marketing with group & event bookings
- Responsible for online reservations systems
- Answer phone calls and monitor online activity (reservations, queries, etc)
- Ensure proper handling of guest payments, check-in and check-out procedures, guest service protocols, etc
- Assist in any special projects or other functions as needed
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 years
SCHEDULE: Thursday – Tuesday; 9 hours per day (depends on arrivals and check-outs; mostly 3PM-11PM shift) **And as needed for events
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
