Korean Restaurant Supervisor

As the KOREAN RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting our team of servers, kitchen staff, and cashiers to create a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of all front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and cashiers, ensuring seamless teamwork and efficient service.
Customer Service Excellence: Proactively ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests, addressing any concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Menu Knowledge & Training: Possess a thorough understanding of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, and effectively train staff on menu knowledge and service standards.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor restaurant operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Scheduling & Staffing: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events, while adhering to labor laws and budget guidelines.
Inventory Management & Ordering: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and assist with ordering to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste.
Quality Control & Food Safety: Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring all food is prepared and served according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Cash Handling & Reconciliation: Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and security, and assist with daily and weekly reconciliation.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on restaurant operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance, and communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager and other team members.
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues and employee conflicts, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- associate's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a Korean restaurant setting, with at least [Number] years in a supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of Korean cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
