Step into a pivotal role where you'll be the essential link between field operations and customer satisfaction during after-hours periods. As a Logistics Dispatcher, you'll leverage your dispatcher and customer service expertise to maintain operational excellence when the main team is offline. This position offers the perfect blend of logistics coordination and customer relationship management, allowing you to utilize specialized software systems while building meaningful connections with both drivers and customers. You'll handle low-volume support operations with the autonomy to problem-solve and ensure seamless service delivery, making you an indispensable part of the company's commitment to round-the-clock operational support.

Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor drivers throughout their routes using advanced logistics software systems
  • Maintain proactive communication with drivers in the field to ensure smooth operations
  • Master multiple software platforms and CRM systems for comprehensive operational management
  • Craft professional email communications to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide direct customer support through various communication channels
  • Deliver timely status updates and progress reports to keep customers informed
  • Manage after-hours support operations with focus on quality over quantity
  • Coordinate between field operations and customer expectations seamlessly
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a dispatcher in the US logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong background in customer support with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with logistics software, tracking systems, and CRM platforms
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently during after-hours shifts
  • Experience managing multiple communication channels and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfort with learning and adapting to new software systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
